About Pastoral Counseling
Pastoral Counseling is a form of individual and relationship therapy and counseling emphasizing principles from Spirit and Religion, as well as Science.
The new field of Dharmic Psychology was founded on principles of Pastoral Counseling, and the books illustrated on this site-- Pastoral Counseling, and The Medusa Code, are the Foundations of that theory. The Medusa Code is soon to be a major motion picture, and, along with Pastoral Counseling, is being used to support clients with serious or terminal illness, and in relationship therapy, sex therapy, occupational therapy and many secular add areas of Pastoral Counseling.
The exams that accompany courses based on these texts are required for certification by the Dharmic Psych Institute as a Dharmic Therapy Counselor. At this time, hundreds of schools and programs use these texts for certification of students in these career areas. Depending on your State, you may also require additional licensing, unless you choose a secular add along with your counseling field.
